Clay blocks, straight from the factory.
Brickos sh.p.k. makes fired-clay blocks for walls, chimneys and floor slabs from the clay of its own deposits. The works are in Korminjan, Kamenicë, and have been run by the Borovci family since 2002.

Clay + water + fire = block.
That is the whole recipe. Clay from our own deposits is mixed with water, shaped in the die, dried and fired in the kiln. The water leaves in the drying and the firing; what goes into the wall is fired clay alone.
- Ecological
- Fire-resistant
- Reduces noise
- Heat-insulating

Forming
The clay is ground, mixed with water and pushed through the die, which gives the block its shape and holes.
Firing
The unfired blocks dry on racks, then go into the kiln. Firing gives the block its colour and strength.
Delivery
The fired blocks are stacked on pallets and wrapped, then leave the yard by truck for the building sites.
